See, the really cool thing about believing in God is that you receive special permission to possess certain things. Sometimes this includes entire countries. The United States is such a country according to a few delusional individuals and in this particular blog we will take a peek at some who truly think this country belongs to the Christians. Yikes.

I totally love it where this lady says the first president was just like Jesus...except with slaves. Oh yes...In God We Trust was added in 1954 and NOT at the founding of this nation.

Claims from Ridiculous Christians

Have you ever come across a magazine called the Whistleblower? If you have not I encourage you to go and pick one up, take a peek inside, and read some of the craziest bullshit some Christians spew as truth. Absolute ridiculousness is what it is.

In the May 2011 issue of Whistleblower, Volume 20, No. 5, Joseph Farah writes an absurd article in a letter from the publisher on pages 3 and 4. I would like to comment on that particular article here. Yes, I know it is a fairly old article but I would still like to comment on it. I had actually never even heard of this magazine until I was at a friends home and she showed me a couple of articles from a different issue. I was intrigued and requested to borrow a few copies. I took the magazines home and began to go through them, coming across this piece fairly early on.

What I will do here is type the comment made by Farah, and then make a comment of my own in response. I will type his comments word for word just in case you were wondering. 

1. "Some people call me a radical." -Joseph Farah- May 2011 Whistleblower

     No. Radicals favor drastic political, social and economic reforms...something you clearly do not favor. You do not wish for gays to have the right to marry and you have problems with the idea of Pro-Choice (since it is otra de la ley of Him Who you worship) along with all sorts of other issues that you plant, grow, and harvest from your little field of religious-political fanaticism. Reforms should be good things. You wish to deny people basic rights and just in case you did not know, that would definitely NOT qualify as drastic reform. It might qualify as drastic set-back. 

     You have this air of wishing to revert to the 'old'. The 'old', some of it, is still very good. What you do not seem to understand is there are elements of the old that are not so good. Perhaps for the time in which it was birthed much of the old was good, but you also seem to forget that even those who created the old recognized that not all of it was good and great. It was all new, remember? Experimental. The Founding Fathers knew they wouldn't get it all right and even suspected they would get some of it wrong.


2. "As I've said many times, "conservatism" cannot save America. It's too far gone from what it was intended to be to save it through holding on to what we have left. And that, by definition, it what "conservatism" is all about."

     No. Your assessment of America being in a state of poor health is inaccurate. Yes, we DO have money problems and a deficit ten times the size of Texas. But, this is not what you are referring to, is it? Neither are you referring to pointless wars, the great need for good and affordable healthcare, bickering in Congress, helping communities to recover more quickly from natural disasters such as Katrina and Sandy, or dealing with the issues eating away at social security, are you?

     What you are referring to is essentially a religious issue for you, isn't it? For some twisted reason you think the issues that this nation in particular experiences are the direct result of people falling away from God and Jesus, right?


3. "If "conservatism" means cutting the budget but still overspending, borrowing from future generations and ignoring constitutional limits on the federal government's power, then I am not a conservative. Yet that is what many of the most prominent conservatives are doing in Washington right now."

     Oh, look! Here you try to make it look like it isn't a religious issue. This is a half-ass effort though, right? I mean, what is it that you say toward the very end of this article? Here is what you said:

     "If there is an opportunity for the bad guys to manipulate and exploit the crisis they have created, there is also an opportunity for lovers of liberty and lovers of God to do the same."

     See? You don't give a shit about the budget and the money and social security. What matters to you is WHO is qualified (according to your rules) to participate in various liberties and whether or not people who believe in God (presumably the same God you believe in) are the ones making the rules.

     Don't kid yourself into thinking that this country's problems have to do with people not wishing to follow your Invisible Pal. Yes, there are leaders in this country who abuse the system, abuse money, and abuse liberties...but this is NOT the case with all or even a majority of our leaders and has NOTHING to do with God. These problems are caused by people and not by some all-powerful divine being trying to teach the citizens of this nation any kind of lesson.


4. "George Washington was not a "conservative." Neither were the other founders of this once great country. They actually came up with something quite new in the history of the world- the idea of self governance. They did something unique in the history of the world. They not only threw off the yoke of foreign domination, but they invented a political system that took the shackles off the people and placed those shackles where they belong on central government."

     Sure, shackles were placed on our central government by the Founding Fathers. BUT, those shackles were intended for issues in regards to government function and legislation and NOT intended to shackle the government and prevent the government from changing things that somebody's God thinks are wrong...like same-sex marriage or removing religion from government (or keeping it out).

     Again, you are by no means a revolutionary or anything even remotely similar. What youARE is a pouting Christian, put-out by government shaking the tethers of religion. So, what you do is try to regain, or help to regain control by disguising your divine predilections as budget concerns, constitutional concerns (a HUGE lie), and concerns over abuses of personal liberties. Do these problems exist? Oh, yes...they do. But these issues are not your true focus, are they?


5. "Because we don't need to create something new. We only need to find our way to rediscovering what we had, something that was perverted over time and today is under full-scale assault."

     You need to be specific here, Farah. Rediscover what we had? Which part do you want to rediscover? No marriage rights for gays and lesbians? No voting for women or blacks? Poll tax? Manifest Destiny and loads of dead and displaced Native Americans? God in schools? Guns for everyone? Prohibition? Segregation? 


6. "In this case, the revolutionaries are the ones running the show. They are the lawless ones. They are the ones who are perverting justice and morality and order. We are merely the resistance fighters."

     No. There are not revolutionaries running the show. Yes, there are some real mother fuckers in government who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground and who do abuse much. However, not every leader is like this no matter how much you want to over-exaggerate. Do we have some serious issues? YES. Name a country that does not...

     ...BUT, what makes America great has nothing to do with God and everything to do with our people and our desire to excel, to exceed expectations, to protect liberties for all, and to persist in a push to be fair. Sometimes we miss our mark...but goddamn if we don't keep getting right back up time and again. Even THAT takes a while at times, but THAT is who we are.

     Also, so long as you approach the issues within justice, morality, and order from ANY kind of religious angle it is you who is doing the perverting. Your idea of resistance fighting is nothing more than resistance to fairness and change.


7. "A friend of mine said it this way: "We're not in the middle of a revolution. We're fighting the American Devolution.""

     I think it is the devolution from the idea that America was founded by God, for God and for people who believe in God and worship God that bugs you and Christians like you the most. Not all Christians are like you...thank God.


8. "The very will of the American people is under attack in a thousand ways. It's under attack through the popular culture with its desensitizing images and messages. It's under attack from the establishment press, whose members think they are so much wiser than the simple rubes who work hard, provide for their families and serve their country faithfully and heroically in times of national emergency. It's under attack from high priests in black robes who issue decrees that make a disgrace of the concept of the rule of law and mock the will of the people. It's under attack from elitists who run major foundations. It's under attack from globalists who seek to destroy America's national sovereignty. And it's under attack from a central government that has broken the shackles deliberately placed on it just over 200 years ago by our Constitution. The onslaught is coming fast and furious from these enemies of liberty."

     You make it sound like the American people are stupid. What is wrong with you? Do you really think our citizens are desensitized to the things in this world that are right? Do you only watch and think about and read about the bad things that happen in this nation? There ARE good things, you know. Just because people play GTA, watch risque movies, go to church less or not at all and listen to Lady Gaga that does not mean that they don't care about each other and don't love this country.

     Oh, and I hope your reference to people serving the country faithfully DOES NOT only apply to those who believe in God, right? You DO know that Atheists who love this country, and people of other faiths who love this country serve faithfully as well...right alongside their Christian brothers and sisters, right?

     Conquest of the American spirit? Conquest of the American spirit? We have made it through the Revolution, Civil War, sickness outbreaks, great natural disasters, world wars, conflicts, great political scandals, great tragedies in some of our individual communities, presidential assassinations, and FAR MORE. So, if you think the American spirit can be so quickly diminished, so obtusely swept aside with such great disdain...your faith is misleading you, and you sir, are fucked in the head.

Here is their Proof

Alright! Let us look at and review this so-called proof that people say makes us a Christian Nation.

This man starts off with a sizable mistake when he references the colonies becoming a nation in 1781. This is incorrect. The colonies were not a nation until March 4, 1789.

This guy says he can prove the US is a Christian and then he proceeds to ramble on about killing someone's dog...and...well, I don't really get what the hell he is trying to say. He makes no goddamn sense whatsoever. He said he would give proof. WHERE is this proof? No scenarios...give real actual proof.

Christians have a very bad habit of taking the Founding Fathers wayyy out of context.

All these people say they can prove the US is a Christian nation but never come around with that proof. All they do is play a stupid game of semantics. Never at ANY point is even ONE of their assertions backed up by actual proof. Oh, and the first amendment only applies to Christians. I have said it before and I will say it again: these people are fucked in the head.

For all those who still believe this is a Christian nation read up on your US History, you jackasses.

When I first began reading this article and then watched the accompanying video I thought that perhaps the Christians had in fact finally stumbled on some kind of legitimate proof the US is a Christian nation. Nope, false alarm. These guys need to come up with better lies. Oh...and they STILL have not proved a goddamn thing.

Oh my Jesus! David Barton is an idiot and apparently has no qualms whatsoever about misinterpreting documents and situations.

This Barton guy never once shows or provides actual proof for anything. Nothing at all. What he has is a collage of documents from which he takes ambiguos statements and tries to form them to his opinion. He still has proved nothing.

Again, here we go with people claiming they have proof this is a Christian nation but they never prove anything. Never once does any kind of information from any document directly state in unequivocal terms that this is a Christian nation. Good Christians make good citizens? Has he checked the prison population in the US? There are PLENTY of professed Christians there.

Still waiting for that proof. Show me something, anything that states we are a Christian nation. Do not go off on tangents. Do not try to use a fist full of ambiguous statements as proof. Give actual proof. And stop taking our nation's founding documents out of context because you aren't helping yourself prove anything.

And STILL waiting for that proof.

Should People Do What God Tells Them To Do?

     I was thinking about some of the ridiculous laws and instructions of the Bible, particularly those in the Old Testament, and that phrase "What Would Jesus Do" scampered across my mind. It occurred to me that since Jesus is an exclusive member of the Trinity that there is really no reason to contemplate what He would do in any given situation, right? I mean, since Jesus IS one of the main ingredients comprising the Trinity it would follow out of necessity that whatever God would do is exactly what Jesus would do.
     In the following I have presented specific verses and where possible corresponding videos.

So, why do some people feel compelled to listen to whatever God says?

They want to be safe wherever they are living.
     Leviticus 25:18 says, "Therefore, you shall do my statutes, and keep my ordinances and do them; and you shall dwell in the land safely."
     See, people warned you to believe in Jesus to be safe! Look what is going to happen to the United States! You should have believed in Jesus, and if you do not now believe in Jesus you had best start believing so that when everything goes to hell you will at least go to heaven when you die.

They want to be able to have a decent harvest so they will have something to eat.

     So basically here what you have is a clear choice, right? Do you want to eat or do you want to starve? You DO like food, don't you? Yes? Great. Then listen to everything God says or He will starve you.

They do not want to be terrorized, do not want to be struck with disease, do not want to lose their eyesight and their strength, need the seeds they plant to grow, do not want to be defeated by their enemies, want to be ruled by people they agree with, and don't want to continually be on the run. They also do not wish to be punished far in excess of the punishment they actually deserve (or even DON'T deserve).
     Leviticus 26:14-18 says, "But if you will not listen to me and carry out all these commands, and if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws and fail to carry out all of my commands and so violate my covenant, then I will do this to you: I will bring upon you sudden terror, wasting diseases and fever that will destroy your sight and sap your strength. They want to look smart, like they know exactly what it is they are supposed to be doing, and want to be viewed not only as being intelligent but also seen as above the average intelligence as far as people of nations populating this planet go.

What are some of the things that God or Jesus tell the people to do, think, or believe?

Don't think that Jesus, the Son of God, came to this earth to bring peace, because in reality He came to this planet to stir the pot...especially when it comes to family and the interactions of the individuals within a family.
     Matthew 10:24-27 says, "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.  And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.  He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."
     So, I am wondering if the fellow in this video realizes that Jesus did say He did not come to bring peace? Oh...that is right. Jesus' peace and the regular peace that people seek are not the same things. What fucking ever, man.

Jesus is REALLY about hate. The love message is just to get people into the group. If you wish to be saved by Jesus you had best know that He requires you to hate your father, your mother, your wife, your children, your siblings, and even your own life. Nothing you have is worth anything and if you want Jesus' salvation the faster you realize you are worthless, the better.     Luke 14:26 says, "Jesus again requires hatred to ones family, he says "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."

Don't go to the doctor to cure ailment and illness. What you need to do is go to church and pray. If you have enough faith when you pray that God and Jesus will heal you, then they will. If you do not have enough faith it is your own fault for NOT believing strong enough. Your blood is on your own hands.
     James 5:14-15 says, "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up."

Stay away from people who do not believe in Jesus and God as you do. Don't go to their house, don't talk to them, don't call them, don't go to barbecues with them, don't go on vacations with them, and pretty much don't go anywhere with them.

Women must not look pretty if they are not naturally pretty. No makeup, no nice clothing, no jewelry, and they best not appear happy and instead wear a frown.
     1 Timothy 2:9 says, "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shame-facedness and sobriety; not with braided [braided] hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array."

Slaves are in fact chattel. So, if you buy a slave or a member of their people as a slave the DO in fact become your property and you may absolutely will them to your children. You may do what you want with them so long as you are sure to NOT treat your own people in such a manner.
     Leviticus 25:44-46 says, "Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly."

Does God ever say it is okay to kill or take people for slaves or not listen to government?

Oh yes. There are times when God says it is absolutely okay to kill other human beings. Not only that, but if you want you may in fact take the women and the children and the animals of those you killed as PLUNDER, spoils of war.
     Deuteronomy 20:13-14 says, "When the LORD your God delivers it [the city] into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it. As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder [slaves] for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the LORD your God gives you from your enemies."

Well, well, well. The assertions that slavery is ONLY in the Old Testament are completely false. And don't worry about how hard you work here on earth because when you die Jesus will make sure all of that hard work that you did for someone else was in fact worth your while.
     Colossians 3:22-24 says, "Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

What does God say about how people should dress, behave, tend to their bodies?

Women who wear pants and men who wear dresses are an abomination to God. Of course, this does not apply to the priests who wear the long skirts. It would be interesting to see women who are in the military as pilots or who are astronauts or who are deep sea divers wearing only dresses. 
     Deuteronomy 22:5 says, "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God."

Men are better than women and this is why when they pray to God the man's head should be uncovered and the woman's head should be covered. If the woman will not cover her head when praying her hair should be cut off to shame her.

How does God feel about common sense?

Do not listen to science or teachers or studies or read encyclopedias or listen to anything that is an explanation of how things in the world really are. Do not believe in anything other than what God and Jesus tell you in the Bible.
     Proverbs 3:5 says, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

What if you do not want to hurt and kill people?

What do you do with information that contradicts God?

Absolutely ignore and downplay and trivialize anything that even remotely differs from anything God and the Bible and Jesus have said at any time. Take all information and twist the shit out of it until it fits perfectly with everything God and Jesus and the Bible have ever said.
     2 Corinthians 10:5 says, "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."


When God says to kill, how do you know who to kill?

There will be a SPECIAL mark that all the GOOD folks will have on their head. If someone does not have that mark on their forehead you are to slice them up one side and down the other...and you better put ALL people without that mark to death, even if they are little children and babies and mothers.
     Ezekiel 9:5-7 says, "Then I heard the LORD say to the other men, "Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity! Kill them all – old and young, girls and women and little children. But do not touch anyone with the mark."


What happens to someone who prophesies, but not for God or Jesus or Israel?

If anyone is caught prophesying without God's permission and specific endorsement then his parents are ordered to stab him to death.

How do you make Christianity look appealing to others?

Grind it into your slaves to be entirely and absolutely obedient to you, this way the people looking upon you who are NOT Christian will be impressed and hopefully convert to Jesus.
     Titus 2:9-10 says, "Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive."

What do you do if someone will not listen to you, particularly your own children?

Nothing makes a child more obedient than a good beating. Make sure you hurt them real good so as to better cement the message of obedience they should have known to begin with.

So, what is the liability for an owner of an animal that injures or kills someone?

Forget strict liability altogether, right? All you need to do is pay a little dough to the owner of the hurt, injured, or killed slave. Oh, and be sure to stone the offending animal to death...cuz that will teach all the other animals to never do such a bad bad thing.
     Exodus 21:32 says, "If the bull gores a male or female slave, the owner must pay thirty shekels of silver to the master of the slave, and the bull must be stoned."


What if someone steals from you, gets caught, but cannot pay the associated fee for thieving?

Sell the mother fucker! His ass is going to pay you what he owes you some way, some how.
     Exodus 22:3 says, "A thief must certainly make restitution, but if he has nothing, he must be sold to pay for his theft."


What should you do if you want to live a long time?

Want to live a long life? Do EVERYTHING that God and Jesus and the Lord and the Bible tell you to do. Everything. If you do that you will live a long long time and your kids should be safe as well.
     Deuteronomy 4:40 says, "If you will obey all the decrees and commands I am giving you today, all will be well with you and your children. I am giving you these instructions so you will enjoy a long life in the land the Lord your God is giving you for all time."

Don't forget that in the process of listening to everything that God tells you to do you must have within you the requisite amount of fear in order to feed this Lord of yours the requirements of His ego.
     Deuteronomy 6:24 says, "And the Lord our God commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear Him so that He can continue to bless us and preserve our lives, as He has done to this day."

Just listen to everything that God says, alright? You want to live a long time? You want your kids to live a long time? You want to be succeeded by numerous generations of your own people> Yes? Good. Then what you need to do is OBEY everything God says. Period.
     Deuteronomy 7:9 says, "Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God who keeps His covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes His unfailing love on those who love Him and obey His commands."

     Deuteronomy 16:12 says, "And you will keep in mind that you were a servant in the land of Egypt: and you will take care to keep all these laws."


How do you know WHEN to listen to God and the Bible and Jesus and the Lord your God?

Listen to everything that God says from now until eternity and for ever and ever and ever. Nothing God will ever tell you to do will change, so do everything all the time for ever and ever.
     Psalm 111:7 says, "The works of His hands are faith and righteousness; all His laws are unchanging."

What's the Rub About Biblical Laws?

PART I

     So, let us take a look at what passes as law in the Bible. Keep in mind that if the LORD commanded it, it must then be true, correct? If you are a Christian do you or do you not hold the words of the Bible to be the utter, literal truth? Before you answer I want you to recall what it says in Isaiah 40:8, "The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever."

     Now then, if you establish that the word of God stands forever you must come to some kind of conclusion as to whether or not these laws in the Old Testament still hold true. And DON'T give me any of that 'old law, new law' crap. If you say that the word of God stands forever and NEVER FADES then out of logical necessity these laws must still be true. After all, if these laws are no longer good and no longer apply...then how can you say the word of your God stands forever?

Psalm 119:124 says, "I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love, and teach me your decrees."
     This is an interesting verse. Look at the semantics of this verse and consider the foundation of Christianity: a Master/Slave relationship. That right there ought to be warning enough of a really screwy way to think and believe. There is NO love to be found in slavery...even when man is the slave and God is the master.

Psalm 119:117 says, "Hold me up that I may be safe and have regard for your statutes continually."
     And what does this verse say? What is the message conveyed here? Why, if I can just do whatever God says to do...down to the very last jot and tittle...then I shall be okay and safe and held up by God.
     Are many Christians so blinded by their eagerness to avoid hell that they really do whatever God asks? The Quran is often held high in the air by the hands of evangelicals and Christian fanatics alike who loudly accuse and automatically convict the words of the Muslim faith as evil, dangerous, hateful, vengeful, and a clear indication of the terrible things Allah instructs His followers to do in His name, and for His glory, and ultimately the glory of Islam.
     "Our God is an awesome and loving God who would NEVER instruct His people and His Church to engage in atrocity after atrocity. Our God...the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob...would never instruct or encourage His children to do what is clearly wrong and immoral. God instructs His people, His children, to do only those things which bring Him great glory."

Psalm 119:112 says, "My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end."
     That is absolutely correct...whatever you do, whatever anyone says, whatever the suffering, whatever the turmoil, whatever the dastardly deed so long as you are doing what GOD wants you to do you will be okay. Psalm 119:71 says, "It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees."
     Translation: This is what I get for not listening to God and the Bible. This is the kind of thinking  that the end-of-days morons have every time there is a major natural disaster, right? Oh no! Romans 11:33 says, "Oh, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out."
     There is zero knowledge and even less richness to be experienced by spiritual thuggery. And of course adherents to God and the Bible will say God's judgments are unsearchable and His paths beyond tracing. Genesis 26:4-5 says, "I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees, and my instructions."
     Yes. Do everything I say to do and you will be just fine. Even if I tell you to do something bad or mean or degrading or hurtful or wicked. This message is repeatedly beat into the slaves of Christianity time and again.

Exodus 15:26 says, "He said, "If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you."

Leviticus 25:18 says, "So keep my rules and my decisions and do them, and you will be safe in your land."
     So, is the reason why God did not allow the Native Americans to remain safe in their land because they did not worship HIM instead of other gods or spirits of Nature?

Deuteronomy 4:1 says, "And now give ear, O Israel, to the laws and the decisions which I am teaching you, and do them, so that life may be yours, and you may go in and take for yourselves the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, is giving you."
     Ah! THIS is why the Native Americans lost their land. God had promised it to other people who were perfectly willing to do anything He asked them to do in exchange for the land.

I Kings 9:6-7 says, "But if you or your descendants turn away from me and do not observe the commands and decrees I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them, then I will cut off Israel from the land I have given them and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my name. Israel will then become a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples."
     You know what, a God that feels He has to threaten around every goddamn corner just to get His people to behave and do His bidding has some serious problems to address. This is not commitment. This is not behaving in a worthy manner. This is a really twisted way of disguising threats as gifts.

Leviticus 15:26 says, "Every bed whereon she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her as the bed of her period; and everything whereon she sits shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her period."
     And to think bullshit like this was considered law. Even worse, it supposedly came from God. You would think that this amazingly powerful, all-knowing God that created man would have known and thus would have informed people properly as to the function and purpose of the human body.
     Oh. My bad. These are OLD Testament laws. Only the NEW Testament laws apply now, right? No, it ISN'T right. If the old things in what is supposed to be God's own law from His own mouth are no longer good, honey you have just pulled the plug on God's Word being unchanging and never fading away. Matthew 5:21-22 says, "You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, "You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment. And anyone who says, "You fool!" will be in danger of the fire of hell."
     So, maybe this is something that all the evangelicals out there ought to take a look at, all the evangelicals that prance about on Sunday television and rant and rave that gays and lesbians ought to be electrified. And what about Jimmy Swaggart and his fucked up comment that he would kill a gay and just tell God he died? How about the preachers who think that the government should have the duty of putting gays and lesbians to death as per these old bullshit laws?

Numbers 15:32-36 says, "While the Israelites were in the wilderness, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. Deuteronomy 21:18-21 says, "If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town.      Well, there go a good portion of the boys of the world. Never mind the part about being a glutton and a drunkard, what about the part where the kid isn't listening? Did the idiot who wrote this even have kids? Not likely. I have children and while there were times when I was sure they were driving me up the wall with their disagreement with whatever I was trying to get done NEVER ONCE would I have killed them for their disobedience.
     Look what we have here! Tada! A Christian defender of the Bible jumps to the defense of the verses in the Old Testament about stoning kids. That isn't what God REALLY meant:

Leviticus 20:11-15 says, "If a man has sexual relations with his father's wife, he has dishonored his father. Both the man and the woman are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. If a man has sexual relations with his daughter-in-law, both of them are to be put to death. What they have done is a perversion; their blood will be on their own heads. If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. If a man marries both a woman and her mother, it is wicked. Both he and they must be burned in the fire, so that no wickedness will be among you. If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he is to be put to death, and you must kill the animal."
     So, uhmm...never mind the part about laying with a man as with a woman. We have heard that ad naseum, right? How about the part about incest? How does this law equate with Adam and Eve supposedly populating the entire planet? I mean, there would be absolutely NO WAY WHATSOEVER for that to have happened purely from Adam and Eve WITHOUT rampant incest.
     This is just straight up fucked up. This guy totally and completely validates Old Testament incest. Some of the reasons he gives are there were no other alternatives and that law was not put into effect against incest until way later. Oh, and he says the deformation of chromosomes did not catch up until AFTER the sin. That of course makes no sense because all people other than Adam and Eve came about AFTER being tossed out of the Garden of Eden by God for eating the fruit of the wrong tree. That was the fall...and it came BEFORE any of the incest. Soooooo...:

     Well, in the small print this verse means that only those mediums and spiritists OUTSIDE of Christianity or God's 'special circle' are put to death, right? How many times in the Bible do we come across prophets with 'powers' supposedly given by God, people who look for signs and interpret them in order to know what God is trying to tell them (never mind He could just as easily tell them exactly what He wanted instead of playing a fucked up version of twenty goddamn questions)?
     I think Christianity has so much crap to say about the occult because it does not want the competition. Period. If people get to thinking that there are more ways to think than one way, that there may be power other than the decrepit and delusional power offered by the Bible, well that is lost business for Jesus and His endorsers.
     And you know what, with all of this strength that God is supposed to give His believers they sure are a bunch of scared puddy-tats. Listen to the LONG list of no-nos that this guy offers. ? Wow. What can you say? First of all, not everyone who studies such things are bad just like everyone who is a Christian is not good. You know who you are in your heart, and you bring into your life what you are in your heart. It really does not matter who you are or where you are from. There are lots of people who can do some interesting and seemingly inexplicable things that are highly unusual...but these things are not bad unless the people use them for bad. 
     Secondly, if the people do not know what they are doing or do not believe what they are doing...NOTHING will happen. Thirdly, making people afraid of everything is not helping your cause. You say your God will help you to discern between good things and bad things. So, what are you so afraid of? Is a person who interprets dreams evil? Is a person who practices psychometry evil?

     Ah, look. ANOTHER area where Christianity totally and completely fails. They say all scripture is from God and is pure truth and the real, ACTUAL words of God that are as good today as they were when they were written. Really? I bet the slave owners of the early United States thought differently, and weren't some of those men and women supposed to be Christian?
     That is all beside the fact I suppose, for the real issue for this particular verse is this law regarding the 'killing' of people and who this particular law of not killing people should apply to, and WHEN it should apply.
