The Govt's Favorite Pastime: Spinning Yarns from Loads of Crap

Just like the post previous to this one you must start at the bottom of the post and read up.

  1. P.S. Dear Govt, can you also blame the Boston suspects for current probs with that nut in Korea? Be creative, I'm sure you can make it fit.
  2. ...because so long as you have someone we all dislike to blame for all that we are afraid of we will all be much MUCH safer. As you were.
  3. ...remember, dear govt, you must be absolutely SURE to blame everything Americans are afraid of on these bastards...
  4. Oh, wait...and that time in 4th grade when i totally tanked my history exam...that wasn't my fault but the fault of these terrorists...
  5. Actually, to be safe you should also include global warming and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
  6. ...and the extinction of the dinosaurs and the dodo.
  7. ...the fall of the Roman Empire, the rise of the IRS, the outbreaks of bubonic plague in Europe in the 14th century,
  8. ...the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa, the appearance of saggy pants as a fashion statement, the Tea Party formation,
  9. ...the mis-counting of votes that would have won Al Gore the presidency of the United States of America (we just gotta blame SOMEONE),
  10. ...the attempted assassination of President Reagan (Jodi Foster is no longer to blame), the Challenger explosion in 1986,
  11. ...the Branch Davidian fiasco in 1993, Heaven's Gate cult deaths in 1997, the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1986,
  12. ...anger over Israel declaration of independence in 1948, Kennedy assassination in 1963, Watergate in 1972,
  13. Dear Govt, as you seem fully committed to placing as much blame and absurd reasoning on the Boston suspects as possible don't forget to add
  14. Last time govt worked this hard in conspiracy: JFK assassination. If you recall, the govt really, really stuck to their guns on that one.
  15. Govt would have the people think that this flood of info on the suspects directly translates to what is known as a preponderance of evidence
  16. It is so much information that many people will assume it to be true. Why wouldn't they, right? After all, there is so much it must be true.
  17. ...neighbors, fellow students, acquaintances and still more people are supplying info clearly intended to remove doubts as to what is true.
  18. The govt is really trying hard to convince people this bombing situation is real. Information is pouring in from every direction...
  19. I think it is interesting how every day in the news there is more 'progress' in the collection of evidence against the bombing suspects...

This post consists of my Twitter discussion of the most recent violent act against the American People: Bombing in Boston

Being as though I am not exactly computer savvy, I could not figure out how to re-arrange the tweets from first tweet to the last tweet, so everything goes from last to first.

To read these in the proper order please start at the very end of this post.

  1. We have made it through a lot, showing the world our depth of perseverance and determination to do what is right. We shouldn't stop now.
  2. ...censorship, segregation, Cuban Missile Crisis...seriously, the list goes on and on and on and is testament to our strength as a nation.
  3. ...the Red Scare, polio, massive poverty brought on by the Great Depression, the Civil Rights Movement, questionable election results...
  4. ...attacks on our governmental leaders, scandal, abolition of slavery, Reconstruction, WWI, WWII, Cold War, women's rights, voting rights...
  5. We've through some serious shit as a people. American Revolution, American Civil War, expansion, Manifest Destiny and Native mistreatment...
  6. Our persistent wisdom as a nation, a people, sustains us and is what has always shone through once the dust has settled.
  7. We are better than that, and that particular character trait is part of why so many countries, free and enslaved alike, look up to us.
  8. We've not come this far as a strong nation, a strong people, just to recklessly cast aside the very ideals of fairness we fought so hard for
  9. We cannot allow our govt or people to even remotely begin to behave like those the world found guilty at Nuremberg.
  10. ...those who continued firing until the trenches were full.
  11. ...so that our firm foundation and strong character remains in tact lest we become like those who continued firing on those they hated...
  12. ...we are supposed to be able to look past our fear, anger, and desire for revenge so that we may think more clearly and react properly...
  13. ...but Americans really need to realize and remember why and what makes this nation so great...
  14. ...it was very easy and probably a natural reaction to want revenge and make somebody pay...
  15. We stood in front of our televisions that morning, hands over our mouths to try to stifle the screams of horror escaping as we watched...
  16. There's images from 9/11 I have never been able to get out of my mind. Pictures and footage of people jumping to their deaths, my God...
  17. This crime against the city of Boston and its people, MY fellow Americans and YOUR fellow Americans makes me so angry. I think back to 9/11
  18. It is difficult and may at times seem impossible to allow those accused of crimes against humanity and civilized society any rights.
  19. Two things in response to that: 1) The govt is not being just. 2) Tricking people into approving impingement of rights is not consent.
  20. "...deriving their JUST powers from the consent of the governed."
  21. Remember the part of the Declaration of Independence that says, "...That to secure these rights governments are instituted among men...
  22. ...and with each pass the answer that no or very little rights should be given picks up supporters.
  23. What kind of rights should the Boston bombing suspect have? This simple, yet frightening question is continuing to make the rounds...
  24. If you doubt this take a look at the history of man in its entirety.
  25. Surrendering freedom and liberty is not conducive to the continuation of American Culture and way of life.
  26. Attempting to fortify by retracting from the foundation makes about as much sense as putting the moat INSIDE the castle instead of OUTSIDE
  27. It is the same application in structures of thinking and politics and social interaction. Poor foundation is an assurance of failure.
  28. You do not have to be an engineer or carpenter or in construction to know that any structure without a proper foundation WILL NOT STAND...
  29. ...freedoms of binding factors in the foundations of this country. Last time I checked, structure will not stand without a proper foundation
  30. Do I love the United States of America? You bet I do. That is why I am so concerned as I watch political thugs and bullies hurt freedoms...
  31. So long as it was only happening to someone else, especially someone they did not like, they were just fine with debauchery in policy.
  32. People knew. They did not want to admit such because their lives went along as usual and their lives were not affected enough to complain.
  33. Some people later said they could never have known that such actions and policies could have ended in such world wide calamity. Such a lie.
  34. ...then their money was taken, their homes taken, their businesses and places of worship smashed and burned to the ground...so horrible.
  35. Little by little the lives of the Jews were taken away. They needed papers. Then they could only own so much. Then they could not travel...
  36. Hitler started doing the same goddamn thing, little by little, before he made his move and plunged humanity into one of the darkest pits...
  37. Will the rights of Muslims in this country end up being cut at the hocks in the name of preserving liberty and the American People?
  38. Will our govt end up keeping certain people or groups out of politics, the press, entertainment industry, transportation, and authority?
  39. Will our govt end up limiting what certain immigrants or participants of various faiths can and cannot do in the name of national security?
  40. The govt is furiously trying to lead the thoughts of as many people as possible down a chute that leads to one place, one end only: disaster
  41. Is the govt going to go after CRIMINALS or make people fearful of all those who think, feel, believe, worship, and love differently?
  42. Shall we start taking the freedoms of those we dislike? Shall we label them and mark them so we know automatically who they are?
  43. What will happen if we do not learn from history, recent history at that?
  44. ...a noose that gradually chokes the liberty that is the life-blood, or should be the life-blood, of any country and people.
  45. ...it is for the protection of the people. But it had nothing to do with protection of people and everything to do with tightening a noose,
  46. "But it is for our protection!" people will say. Really? The Nazis said the same damn thing when they started weaseling govt powers...
  47. Shall we all start carrying a satchel of papers that prove who we are, when we are, and why we are as we travel about our own country?
  48. We used to be able to go from San Diego to Tijuana, back and forth with no problem and no passport. It is not that way anymore. What's next?
  49. All of the changes and attempted changes in legislation do more to impede the movements of law abiding citizens, not criminals.
  50. The real immigration issue the govt is focusing on has to do with the control of the people INSIDE the country, not those OUTSIDE country.
  51. ...Do you think they will do any better with other individuals in various other pockets of immigration? No.
  52. Then there are talks about getting tough on immigration reform. There's a scary thought. Govt has been terrible to migrant farm workers...
  53. And you will have a lot of people thinking this is okay because the govt is just trying to protect us. Crap. All crap.
  54. The govt will try to push for more leeway in digging into the private lives of citizens and non-citizens alike...in the name of security.
  55. So, now there are discussions that the govt dropped the ball on the background investigations of the bombing suspects. Know what that means?
  56. The govt really needs to stop adding anything else to the fairy tale they have already spun regarding this entire situation...
  57. What should the govt do? Say, why don't we damage his throat so he cannot talk. We'll still sedate him for now till we know what he will do.
  58. I am surprised this suspect was (at least so far) allowed to live. But, since he IS still alive they certainly don't want him talking.
  59. Now the bombing suspect is "under sedation" and the govt does not know if he will ever be able to talk. What a load of shit.
  60. ...forget playing the verbal recording with computerized model. Show me the actual recording of the heat signature moving around.
  61. The computerized model of the supposed movement included the voice recording of the air crew warning the ground crew of the movements...
  62. The news reports said the heat signature device caught the movements of the suspect. Where is the video showing the suspect moving around?
  63. When they first ran the actual footage that was taken by the heat signature it appears from shadow that the guy was laying down on his side.
  64. Also, what happened to the actual heat signature video recording of the guy in the boat? I don't mean the animated/computerized crap either
  65. Also, is there footage of the gun battle where the one suspect was found hiding in a boat? The one clip I could find shows only police fire
  66. Of course, depending on which news network you watch the term explosive might not be used.
  67. ...I wonder if there is any footage of the chase of the suspects where they were reportedly throwing explosives out the window?
  68. There is footage, albeit limited, that show the "fierce gun battle" where one of the suspects was "found" hiding in a boat. I wonder...
  69. All of the reports and footage and news conferences and pictures and everything in between is intended to be legitimizing govt claims...
  70. ...special search helicopters zip back and forth overhead as an 'amazing' heat-signature photo is taken from above, civilians are there too
  71. ...and it is all on film. Imagine that. Cars with flashing lights importantly zoom hither and thither, a ferocious gun battle rages...
  72. Police, FBI, and a b-zillion others with matching uniforms and shiny badges pounce on the suspects like a cat cornering a rat...
  73. It makes for interesting propaganda to watch some of the footage of the 'bomb suspects' being captured, right?
  74. There is no celebration in death and that goes for either side in any conflict of every type.
  75. Oh Jesus. Geraldo Rivera is such an ass. He just said something along the lines of celebrating hunting down and killing terrorists. Moron.
  76. ...but that does not mean as a govt, as a people, and as a nation we should forsake what we fought so hard for, what our foundation is.
  77. I absolutely agree terrorist actions are not fair. Political dispute is NEVER fair, especially when the disagreeing parties start killing...
  78. ...we do not treat them differently. We treat them fairly; remember, this is part of what justice is in this country: fairness, equality
  79. Even if the actor of a terrorist deed is not a citizen of this country he/they still have rights. We DO NOT treat them differently...
  80. Refusing an individual their full rights as so afforded by the Constitution, even if it is a terrorist douche bag, is wrong and unacceptable
  81. This type of thinking is the complete antithesis of what this country was founded on. The Founding Fathers must be turning in their graves.
  82. It sets the horribly constructed stage for thinking perceived crime against the American people is a complete defense for denying rights.
  83. That idea sets the stage for people to start thinking it is okay to deny rights because of the bad things people do, and for justice.
  84. THAT is serious bull**** considering that to do such a thing as fail to read someone their rights, yet still charge them is unconstitutional
  85. She said something along the lines of, "It probably isn't necessary. I mean, we have the witnesses, the pictures, the camera videos..."
  86. The Fox News reporter just said something seriously frightening: an exception for Miranda Rights should be issued in this case...WTF!!!
  87. I DO, however, truly think that the compassion and kindness and support for the people of Boston by their fellow Americans IS genuine...
  88. It is like a low-budget, B-Rated flick with bad acting and an even worse script.
  89. ...the hallowed, holy ground of the Boston Marathon...justice has prevailed for the victims and for all Americans...
  90. Watch the Fox News reports; you just cannot miss the deluge of cheesy, over-the-top rhetoric: the cowards who committed this heinous deed...
  91. ...but what The People really need to be protected from is a govt that is no longer of The People, by The People, and for The People.
  92. Oh look what we found! See, govt was right yet again and acted heroically and protectively in its duty to protect The People...
  93. Evidence on computers, cell phones, individual witnesses, stories of direct links to extremist groups and behavior, the list goes on and on.
  94. But the govt is offering way too much info, so much so that the reports are beginning to sound unrealistic and hokey.
  95. But the govt is 'revealing' way too much, so much so that the reports are beginning to sound unrealistic and hokey.
  96. Now the govt suddenly has all this proof against the men accused? Maybe if the govt only offered a few things here and there as proof.
  97. People then become so grateful for govt saving the day that they don't mind that a few rights are trampled upon along the way.
  98. The result? The govt swoops in and miraculously dishes out a heaping helping of justice and bravado and patriotism.
  99. Keep people in that straight jacket of fear. Keep people in a state of mind that reeks with terror and makes people beg for govt help.
  100. Al-Qaeda, Muslim, extremist, terrorist, plot, plan, attack, murder and more pepper reports in every facet of the media.
  101. News reports continue to make copious use of phrases and catch words that will keep people on the edge of their seats, fearful and worried.
  102. Frankly, the news reports are getting stranger and stranger. The so-called evidence the govt is offering is overkill and it is obvious.
  103. Government would have everyone think that in order to ensure the safety of The People from the criminal minority rights must be malleable.
  104. Public majority follows the law. Criminal minority does not. Punishment of the many does not translate to punishment of the few.
  105. People who intent to hurt, maim, or destroy others do not suddenly find their hands tied behind their backs by changing gun laws.
  106. The recent rash of heartbreaking killings could not have been avoided by by trimming gun possession rights, unfortunately.
  107. A criminal who wants a gun WILL get that gun no matter what. Abridging gun rights is about controlling people, not protecting them.
  108. I wish to keep my Right to Bear Arms in tact. Do I own a gun? Nope. But, my right to possess a gun should not be revoked due to criminals.
  109. Construct gun laws that hold the criminals responsible, especially for violent crimes committed with weapons.
  110. Pruning the Right to Bear Arms for all Americans in general will do NOTHING for the safety of anyone.
  111. I think it is highly likely.
  112. Will this govt-planned deed of debauchery be used to support or guide legislation that limits or severely stunt the Right to Bear Arms?
  113. It really makes you wonder what the govt is trying to pull out from its sleeve while everyone is watching what is being pulled from a hat.
  114. As for the young men who were pinned as being the responsible parties...what a load of plop. The govt is working overtime to seed fear.
  115. Whatever political purpose is behind the idiocy and cruelty of committing crimes against the people of Boston, I hope it is fully exposed.
  116. Generally speaking, conspiracy theories can be absurd. This time, no. I think the people of Boston are getting the governmental shaft.
